Bill Alves Los Angeles, California

Bill Alves is a composer, video artist, and writer and director of the HMC American Gamelan, which performs new compositions on Javanese instruments tuned to just intonation. In addition to several CDs and a DVD of compositions, he is the author of two books and co-director of the MicroFest festival of microtonal music.
